This benefit concert–supporting the restoration and care of the Kettering Church pipe organ–is entitled “Triptych for Pipe Organ,” featuring four contrasting musical “triptychs.” We'll journey from the serene minimalism of Toon Hagen to the brilliance of Bach’s Trio Sonata No. 6, followed by impressionistic colors from Debussy’s Children’s Corner, and concluding with vibrant American works by Emma Lou Diemer, Connor Chee, and Ian Farrington. All are invited to experience the full expressive range of the Kettering pipe organ in music that is reflective, joyful, and deeply engaging.
A freewill offering will be received to support ongoing restoration and enhancement of this treasured instrument.
