Kid's & Family Ministry at Kettering SDA Church exists to nurture a lifelong relationship with Jesus by:
Each Sabbath from 11:30am–12:30pm, our age-specific Sabbath School classes create a space where kids can engage with Scripture, experience community, and grow in their faith through worship and interactive learning.
Throughout the week and year, additional events and programs offer kids the chance to serve, lead, and discover their God-given purpose. We believe in Jesus’ call to “Let the little children come to Me,” and we strive to create environments where children and families are welcomed, loved, and transformed by His grace.

We meet together during a short pre-sabbath school program called "The Bridge (11:10-11:30am)" and then dismiss to age-specific classrooms for Sabbath School.

We serve children from birth through 6th grade, along with their parents and caregivers.
Each class includes Bible stories, worship through music, prayer, hands-on activities, and meaningful discussions. Our goal is to help children know Jesus and grow in faith in a safe, welcoming environment.
We host a variety of events throughout the year, such as summer Family Nights and hikes, Lake Days, service projects, and seasonal celebrations (Glow Night, Easter, movie nights, etc.)
Our ministry is led by the children & family pastor, elders, and dedicated staff and trained volunteers who love Jesus and love kids. All leaders undergo background checks and training to ensure your child's safety.
We welcome parent involvement and volunteers! Whether you're interested in teaching, assisting, planning events, or supporting behind the scenes, we’d love to talk with you. Email Pastor Clay and he’d love to connect with you and get your engaged in ministry!
We start children’s ministry each week with a short program called “The Bridge” from 11:10-11:30am in the Check-in room. Parents check in their kids, kids grab a snack and engage in singing or a special skit or live science demo. Children’s Sabbath School classes start after that from 11:30am to 12:30pm in the children’s wing. Rooms are organized by age/grade to provide age-appropriate learning.
No registration is required for weekly Sabbath School classes. Just come and check in at the welcome area! For special events, pre-registration may be needed.
We provide family worship resources, encouragement, family small groups, and occasional seminars or gatherings for parents to help them grow in their own faith and disciple their children effectively at home.
Yes! We encourage kids to participate in reading scripture, telling children’s story, joining our vocal and chime choirs, and singing/acting/running cameras at Kids Church.
