We believe that church is not just a building we visit, but a group of people who daily choose to follow Jesus together–to be church to each other and to the world around them.
We Bring Jesus to People – by serving our community and sharing the good news of Jesus’ life, death, and soon second coming.
We Care for Each Other as Family – by being welcoming and warm, spending time together, and supporting every member.
We Empower the Next Generation – by investing in children, youth and young adults so they can reach their full potential and make an eternal impact.
We Worship in Spirit and Truth by gathering on Sabbath and throughout the week to ground ourselves in the Bible and experience the presence of the Holy Spirit.
We Grow Together in Jesus
by the transformative power of prayer, studying scripture, and utilizing the spiritual gifts of each member.
My vision is to see a church filled with followers of Jesus whose lives have been changed by Him. Believers of every age who boldly live on the mission of sharing the love of God with others and hold on to Scripture. Who pray with fervency for the power of the Holy Spirit. A church that shares meals together and builds close relationships with each other and is not divided by age, skin color, political party affiliation, or social status. Believers who love everyone. I see a church where people give so much that it hurts and yet they do it with joy. Believers who are totally committed to Jesus even if the rewards will only be seen in heaven. Who desire to be in the presence of God every moment of their lives and longingly await thesecond coming of Jesus. In desperation and all affliction, they hold on to what is true – Jesus, our Savior and treasure.
We believe worship is a daily, moment-to-moment practice, not merely a 1-hour service. Your personal relationship with Jesus occurs with your own discovery of His Word. If you would like more information and/or guidance from a pastor on how to grow that relationship through Biblical discovery, we'd love to help!
(Also called Sabbath Schools) are smaller communities of the Kettering Adventist Church where people from all backgrounds can find a place to be known and become more like Jesus in the study and discussion of His word.
