Joel Greve, once an intern in our very walls, is the Chaplain at Spring Valley Academy where he oversees spiritual life programming and campus ministry. In this role, he leads chapel services, produces a weekly Campus Ministries newsletter, guides student-led worship teams, and organizes outreach events in partnership with students and community groups.

Before joining SVA, Greve served as Youth Pastor at Centerville Seventh-day Adventist Church. In that position, he engaged church members in community-centered initiatives, including a “40‑Day Dash” walking challenge in 2019 that collectively covered over 10,000 miles!

Outside formal ministry settings, Greve builds community through active engagement–encouraging movement, faith, and shared experiences among youth and adults alike–along with his wife, Kenyon.
