
Anthony Bosman, PhD, is a theoretical mathematician specializing in topology, focusing on the study of knots in 3- and 4-dimensions. He is an active researcher and has led several research experiences for undergraduates, being named the students' choice research mentor in the year in 2025. He has also been recognized for his engaging teaching, winning the university's teaching excellence award in 2023.
Many of his lectures are available on the Math at Andrews University YouTube channel, having been viewed millions of times. He also lectures internationally and writes on the relationship between faith, reason, and science, encouraging audiences to love God with all their mind. Bosman also serves in several leadership roles on campus, including currently serving as the chair of the university's Faculty Senate. He is passionate about innovation in higher education and champions the eternal value of Adventist education.
