The morning worship service features guest speakers Kevin Christenson, Head of Hope Studios and Senior Director of Global Distribution, and Matt Webster, Producer and Studio Operations Manager at Walla Walla University. Both are proud members of SVA's Class of 2011. Their presentation, "Lights, Camera, Calling," will explore how God guided them through the media landscape and how they discovered ways to channel their passion in service of His purpose. The service will also feature music from the SVA Band and Choir.
The afternoon brings a meaningful moment of remembrance as Spring Valley Academy holds Memorial Tree Dedications on the front campus in honor of two former students: Micah Harris, Class of 2024, who tragically passed away earlier this school year, and Jesse Schaffer, Class of 2011.
The evening continues with a Vespers concert in the Fritzsche Worship and Performing Arts Center, showcasing the SVA Choir and Strings.
Finally, to close out the night, alumni are invited to lace up and take on the Varsity team in the annual Alumni vs. Varsity basketball game in the gym at 9:00 pm.
