The Kettering Pathfinder Club is part of a worldwide, church-sponsored program for young people in grades 5–12. Pathfinders learn skills for life while growing in their relationship with Jesus and serving others.
Our goal is to help young people discover their God-given potential and live as committed disciples of Christ. Through camping, community service, outdoor activities, Bible study, and team-building challenges, Pathfinders develop leadership, responsibility, and a spirit of service. The club meets twice a month during the school year, with special outings such as campouts, service projects, and social events.
This ministry is important because it equips young people with the tools to live with purpose and courage in Christ. At Kettering, we believe Pathfinders is a powerful step in helping kids and teens become leaders in faith, church, and community.

The Pathfinder Club is part of a worldwide youth ministry of the Seventh-day Adventist Church for kids in grades 5–12. It combines faith, fun, and service through camping, leadership training, and character-building activities.
Yes, Pathfinders wear a uniform that helps build identity, unity, and pride in belonging to the club. A registration fee covers supplies, activities, and events. If financial assistance would be helpful, please contact the director or one of the pastors.
Any young person in grades 5–10, whether or not they attend the Adventist Church, is welcome to join. Friends and community members are encouraged to participate!
Sabbath School is a weekly Bible study class, while Pathfinder Club is a year-round discipleship program that develops practical life skills, leadership, and faith through experiences outside the classroom.
Our club meets twice a month during the school year, typically on the 2nd and 3rd Saturday afternoons of each month, along with special weekend events, campouts, and service opportunities.
Parent involvement is encouraged and welcomed! Parents can volunteer as staff, help with activities, or support during campouts and events.
Pathfinders enjoy camping, hiking, service projects, earning honors in a wide variety of skills (from archery to baking to first aid), leadership development, and regional/national camporees with thousands of other Pathfinders.
You can register at the church office, contact our Pathfinder director, or visit us during a club meeting. For details, email Pathfinders@ketsda.org.
