Our audio visual ministry is a vital part of our way of church, responsible for both stage production and the online expression of worship. Hundreds of people tune in for online worship, while thousands view our archived productions every week. Our dedicated team—whether directing cameras, operating lights, or fine-tuning sound and music production—actively spreads the love of Jesus and showcases our community's creativity across the country and indeed the world. We could not do what we do without them, and you can be a part of it!
Ascent, located in the Upper Room, is our Contemporary expression of worship. This team is led by Allan Clarke, our Ascent Worship A/V Leader.
Sanctuary, located in the main level Sanctuary, is our traditional/family expression of worship. This team is led by Marty Purvis, our Sanctuary Worship A/V Leader.
Throughout the year, we host a variety of events–from classical orchestras to alternative bands, collegiate celebrations to heartfelt memorials.
You can join our dedicated team by reaching out using the form below. When submitting, please indicate which team (Ascent or Sanctuary) is your preference and whether you would be open to helping with events outside of worship.
Time commitments vary based which service/event you’re volunteering for (usually no more than 1-3 hours total) and completely dependent on your own availability. Most team members serve on a rotation schedule, which can be as little as once or twice a month. We value your time and will work with your schedule.
Our teams need people for camera operation, lighting, sound engineering, and music and stage production. Each role plays a vital part in our online and in-person worship experience. If you have a preference, let us know and we’ll try to fit you into that job.
No prior technical experience is required. Our team includes people directing cameras, operating lights, and fine-tuning sound—whatever your interest, we can train you to become part of spreading our message online and in-person.
We have two primary worship expressions: Sanctuary (traditional/family worship on the main level) led by Marty Purvis, and Ascent (contemporary worship in the Upper Room) led by Allan Clarke. You can choose either or both based on your own preference.
It goes without saying that audio visual equipment is an ever increasing ongoing expense, which we always needs more support. We invite anyone who feels passionate about this ministry and called to give to donate using the button at the top of this page. This donate button will take you to our Adventist Giving page where you can specifically give towards our livestream ministry.
