It's a deeply human tendency to treat people differently based on what they look like, what they have, or what they can do for us. James calls it out plainly: favoritism has no place in the community of faith. This message challenges us to examine the quiet ways we rank and filter the people around us, and to see every person through the lens of God's image and God's love. The royal law — love your neighbor as yourself — doesn't come with exceptions. Every person in the room deserves to be seen.
