No Longer Required

Due to the changes that the Ohio governor announced a couple weeks ago, the board has voted to extend occupancy of the church to 100% starting this Sabbath!

What does this mean? 
Starting May 29:

  • Registration is NOT required for worship
  • Ascent will transition to a single service at 10am
    (NO 11:30am Ascent Service)
Starting June 5:
  • Young Adult small groups will begin
  • In June, we will recommend, but not require mask-wearing in the building.

Ascent is our contemporary worship experience. At Kettering, we believe worship is a language through which we respond to God. Ascent aims to connect today’s culture to our Creator through a contemporary environment involving music, teaching, community moments, and coffee.

We've closed the waitlist in preparation for tomorrow's service.

Note: If you didn't get a ticket before Sabbath morning, you can still come! Any previously registered spots unclaimed by five minutes after the start of worship will be given to those waiting on a first-come, first-serve basis.

If all the tickets are taken for your preferred service, submit this form and you will be put on a waitlist. What this means is that if a ticket becomes available before Saturday, you will get first priority.

Why Register?

In order to comply to state guidelines and to do our part in helping end the COVID-19 pandemic, our building is currently at 50% capacity (while Montgomery County is in Red).

Our goal is to not turn anyone away, so we have developed this registration process to help us gauge need and ensure worship experiences that are as successful as they are responsible.

+ Registration Steps
Step 1: Get Registered
  • Registration opens every Wednesday at 7pm and closes at 12am on Saturday (Friday night). Use the green buttons above to get registered.
  • Limit Tickets to those in your immediate household up to ten tickets.
  • Waitlist form is available if you can't get the service and/or time of your preference. ‍If tickets do become available before Saturday, you will be automatically registered and sent a confirmation email.
NOTE: The waitlist only ensures your name is on the list to receive released tickets before Saturday. Released tickets on Saturday will be given out on a first-come, first serve basis.
Step 2: Come to Worship
  • Check in: Doors will open at 9:30am
    (11:15 for second Ascent Service)
  • 5-Minute Rule: On-time check-in ends five minutes after the start of worship (Five minutes after, we release all unclaimed tickets to those waiting).
  • Printed ticket not required.
